Intel-based Mac mini comes with $100 price hike

So today's Apple event was, of course, pretty unexciting. We all know what the Intel-based Mac mini is all about, so there's no surprise there. No surprise, of course, but for the $100 price hike:
Apple today unveiled the new Mac mini with the Intel Core Duo processor, delivering performance up to four times faster than its predecessor and providing even greater expansion in the same innovative and incredibly compact design. Starting at just $599...
Sigh.

Also announced was a pretty lame iPod Hi-Fi, which costs a whopping $349. So much for the "fun new products." Color me unimpressed.
