iTV question(s)

Can you plug an iPod into the iTV's USB port? If so, awesome. It's needed.

If not, why not?

And why isn't there just an iPod Dock built into the top of this thing? And, for that matter, an integrated DVD player? I get that we aren't getting DVR in the first generation, but this other stuff just seems kind of obvious.
