Apple: Leopard will ship after Vista

A representative of Apple Computer said twice during yesterday's financial conference call that Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard" will not ship until Spring 2007, well after Windows Vista's launches in November 2006 and January 2007. This should end rumors of a Mac World San Francisco launch:

Tim Cook: As Steve announced at the developer's conference, the Leopard will be shipping in the spring of next year ... as we said in August, we'll be shipping Leopard in the spring.
