About this siteFor six years, the Internet Nexus served as my technology blog, but I've since started blogging at the SuperSite Blog instead. If you're looking for the blog, please head there. --Paul Monday, December 25, 2006Forrester vs. ComScore on iTunes Sales: ComScore was Paid by AppleWell, I didn't think I'd be blogging on Christmas, but an excellent Rob Enderle editorial refutes claims by Apple fanatics that the Forrester story about dwindling iTunes sales is inaccurate. It turns out Apple paid for that ComScore "report":If Microsoft were to use a ComScore study to disprove an IDC or Forrester study, I doubt many would be foolish enough to believe it. I'll bet not a single Apple "journalist" actually looked up what ComScore did before avidly publishing the company's results. Suddenly, vendor-funded studies are OK?Fascinating stuff. Oh, and Merry Christmas. :) [ Posted at 2:13 PM | Permalink ]
