Google Desktop for Mac (Beta)

Google Desktop is a desktop search application that gives you easy access to information on your Mac and from the web. Desktop makes searching your own email, files, music, photos, and more as easy as searching the web with Google.

Interesting. I've been testing the new version of Google Desktop for Windows for the past several weeks, and it has some features that are missing (and desirable) on the Mac side, including a Sidebar replacement that hosts Dashboard-like Gadgets. But because its onscreen all the time by default (like Vista's Sidebar), it's much more useful and interesting than Dashboard. I wonder if that's coming.
